TOKOMARU WATER POWER.
(By Oue Parliamentary Repobteb.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 9. The Minister for Public Works informed Mr Field to-day that the Public Works Department has a j»reliminary report on the water power that could be developed by the Tokomaru and Mangahao rivers, but a great deal more information will be required before an opinion can be given as to whether the rivers can be developed to advantage.
