CRIPPEN ON TRIAL.
• EVIDENCE FOR THE PROSECUTION. (By Electric Telegraph—Copybiqht.) (Peb Pbebs Association.) LONDON, Oct. 19. At the Crippen trial Teresa Dunne, Belle Elmore's (Mrs Crippen) elder sister from America, gave evidence that she saw a partly-healed scar on _ deceased soon after Belle Elmore's marriage with Crippen in 1892, and also later. Bruce Miller said he met Belle Elmore in 1899. He admitted kissing her, and writing, sending "love and kisses to brown eyes." Belle Elmore did not discourage these endearments; and they had exchanged occasional letters sinco 1904. Cross-examined, Miller denied going to a house in Bloomsbury Square for the purpose of illicit I re l a^ D ?n l P: Received October 20, 10.40 a.m. LONDON, Oct. 19. Mr Tobin's cross-examination of Inspector Dew was intended to show that the remains of the murdered woman had been in the cellar for years.
