FIRE IN WELLINGTON.
(Per Peess Association.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 20. A fire" did considerable damage early this morning in the sawmill and timber yard leased by Bailey, Austin and Arcus, from 0. T. Price. The flames had a strong hold when discovered. The mill and contents were burnt to the ground, also a valuable stock of dressed timber and joinery. The safe and books were preserved intact. Bailey and Co. were insured in the Ocean Accident for £500 on the machinerv and £000 on tliG stock. The loss is estimated at several hundreds above the insurance.
