TWENTY-TWO SAILORS DROWNED. (By , Electbio Telegraph—Copyright.) (Peb Press Association.) LONDON, May 25. The German barque Vlnnon, bound from Hamburg to Mexico, collided with and sank the steamer Skerryvore, bound from Villaricos to Rotterdam, in the Channel. Twenty-two of those on board the Skerryvore were drowned.

The Skerryvore was crossing the Vinnon's bows off Haetings at night time. The eea was choppy, and the impact, abaft the mainmast, was followed by a terrific explosion of the boilers.

Moet of the crew were in their bunks and the Skerryvore foundered in three minutes.

The Vinnon's boats were instantly lowered, tmt a steward was the only survivor. The majority of the victims, except the officers, were foreigners.
