Lord Roberts and many others watched tho shooting between tho Imperial Cadets competitors on the Stock Exchange Rifle Club's ranges at Aldgate. A holiday was observed throughout Canada. A monument to South African heroes was unveiled at Toronto, and a monument to Queen Victoria at Gibraltar.
