A London cable says the following was the result of the race for the Lincolnshire Handicap: —Cinderella 1. Forerunner 2, Norman 3. Taskmaster was scratched for the Great. Autumn Handicap at 1.40 p.m. to-day. says a Christchurch telegram.

FEILDING ACCEPTANCES.

The Fcikling J.C. has received splendid acceptances for its summer meeting. The total is 112 for eight events, which gives the satisfactory average of 14. per race, tinder such circumstances it only requires fine weather for the Easter fixture to be its usual success. The quality of the horses left in is excellent, the only prominent absentee being the meteoric Equitas (who is booked for the South), Sir Frisco and Merrivonia. The different events, consequently, present a very open appearance and will no doubt induce brisk speculation as to winners.
