Six weeks' airship manoeuvres begin at Berlin in April for the training of officers and engineers and experimenting with ethergraphs. The motor of Siemens and Schuckert's bi-plane, carrying an engineer and two passengers, failed at a height of 50 feet at Bronstedterfed A side wind simultaneously struck the machine, which turned a somersault and fell on the occupants. The engineer's thigh was fractured and hie companions wero seriouslv injured
