Breeding ewos were- rather dull of sale, but all lambs wore disposed oi under the hammer. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having received the following cable message from their London House, under date of Bth instant:— Wool: The March sales opened with a large attendance of buyers, aiiim:ited competition and a fair selection,. For merinos generally prices are at par to 5 per cent, advance, fine crossbred s are unchanged, but medium and coarse crossbreds show a decline of from par to 5 per cent.
