ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

HAMILTON, March 9. The dead body of a newly-born child was found in a clump of fern at Waotu. It is supposed to be that of a servant girl. A post-mortem examination proved that the child lived. There were no apparent marks of violence. An inquest is being held.
