RESULT OF ELECTIONS. (By Electric Telegraph—CopritrGHT.) (Peb Press Association.) LONDON. March 7. At the London County Council elections a recount was necessary at the Central Finsbury seat. Heinphill (Progressive) and Rostron (Moderate) both polled 3460. Of the Aldermen continuing in office nine are Moderates and two Progressives, therefore a Moderate assured. Two lady candidates were elected, including the daughter of the Chief Rabbi. Despite the possible tie the Moderates secured a plurality of 39,663 votes.
