;Peu Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 9. At the Supreme Court Henry Biltchliff was sentenced to five years for a certain unnatural offence. Julian Huggins was sentenced to a similar term for ussuult. James Lewis, at the Magistrate's Court, was committed for sentence on a charge of forgery. The Ne\y Zealand Utility Poultry Club is organising ;i duck egg-laying competition to commence in May. WELLINGTON. Feb. 9. Additional charges brought against William Williams, secretary of the Iron and Brass Moulders' Union, allege the misappropriation by him of £120 altogether from the union funds. He appeared on remand in Court to-day, when (•'■ir.i«el intimated that a plea of guilty would bo entered. A further remand was granted. DUNEDIN, Feb. .9. Canon Woodborpe is advised that Rev. P. T. Jonos passed his first, examination in the degree of B.A. at Durham University.
