Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following cable from their London office: — Wool Market.—As compared with last sales closing rates prices are 5 per cent to 7£ per cent higher for crossbred lambs and- scoured merino, 10 per cent higher for medium greasy crossbred, coarse greasy crossbred and crossbred slipe, and 7 to 10 per cent higher for scoured crossbred. Sales closed with good competition, 168,000 bales sold, 85,000 bales for the Continent and 15,000 bales taken by America. There are 10,000 bales held over. AUSTRALIAN PRODUCE MARKET.
