The schooner Lady Kensington, bound for Trinidad, was seized by the Venezuelan officiate while lying becalmed off the Venezuelan coast ; The passengers arid crew were imprisoned. Apparently the seizure is made in pursuance of a decree of President Castro, practically prohibiting trade between Venezuela and Trinidad. The British Minister at Caracas is investigating the matter.
