THE BONED BEEF INDUSTRY.

Per Press Association AUCKLAND, March 26. Replying to a deputation from the Auckland Farmers' -Freezing Company on the subject of the restriction likely to b"e imposed by the British Government on the importations of boned beef, the Premier stated the Government had sent home two officers to help the High Commissioner to ascertain what difficulties there were in the importation of New Zealand produce into Britain. The Board of Trade was aware of the inspection of meat here and familiar with our methods, but it should not be expected that inspection made here would be accepted by the British Government. All representations possible would, however, be made on the subject.
