Fair business is doing in scrip at 1 to 2 discount. TOKIO, March 25. China is again raising the Takumen railway question. The Japanese Government has informed China that in future the only export of arms and ammunition to Macao will bo those guaranteed by the Governor of Macao. LONDON, March 25. Reuter reports that M. Lumarre, proprietor of the Tacarigua estates at Trinidad, has succeeded in converting into paper pulp 84 per cent, of the fibre remaining after the sugar has been extracted. He declares it will pay to grow sugar-cane for the sake of paper-making. His mills are producing 15 tons of pulp daily. A fire occurred in Drury Lane Theatre to-day, but was confined -to the stage by the safety curtain. Much scenery was destroyed' The damage is estimated at £75,000. -
