A cordial invitation for the battleship fleet ro visit any port in Japan on its homeward cruise was presented to Mr Elihu Root, Secretary of State for the United States, on Thursday, and accepted yesterday. The fleet will visit Yokohama. PARIS, March 22. M. Gakadira, interviewed in Paris, said the Japanese approved tho immigration agreement with America, which was entirely aimed in the direction of Japanese emigration to Korea, Formosa. The United States fleet would receive a cordial welcome in Japan, which wanted peace.
