AUCTION SALES. On Thursday, at 1 p.m.. the 3J.A.C. sell, at their rooms, fruit, gigs, dray, sewing machine, piano; also, the contents of a 5-roomcd cottage. STOCK MARKET. A line of extra prime heifers sold freely. We quote •.—Best bullocks, £3 7s cd, £8 10s, and £7 7s 6d to £7 17s 6d; hyJit, £7; heifers, £7 10s to £7 15s. _A■ fair yarding of sheep of good quality sold at last week's rare. Best wethers bicughfc 16s 5d to 16s 10d; light. 14s 7d to 15s 2d; good wethers, 14s to 14s lid; ewe?;, 14s Id and 13b 4d to 13s 3d; fat lambs, 12s 9d, 11s ICd, and 11s sd. Wethers, 'iv/otooth, 10s to 11s 6d ; woolly lambs. 8s 6d ; small, 5s 3d to 5s 9d; culls, 3s Gd ; shorn lambs. 6s 8d: breeding ewes, 9s; old culls, 2s 7d; heifers, 28s. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report:—We hold our usual fortnightly sale at Mangaweka on Saturday, the 14th inst... when we had a fairly large yarding of sheep, the whole- of which were disposed of at following- prices.: — Cull two-tooth ew.es, 5s i . cull two-tooth wethers, 7s-6d; aged"e-vve's, boilers, 2s to 2s Ad, mixed-ago ewe.s, 7s 4d; sm.-ill lambs. 3s 7d ;" inferior cull lambs. Us'ld; two-tooth wethers, small, 9s; twe-tooth ewes, small, 10s 6d to lie 3d.
College of Millinery and Dressmaking, conducted by Mrs Malcolm Tabor. —The above college is now open for the purpoee of practical instruction in millinery and Mrs Tabor's ability as a teacher ia well known, and all pupils can become their own milliners and dressmakers in a short time.
