Charles Fenton was charged with failing to provide for his illegitimate child. He was ordered to pay 7s 6d per week towards its maintenance, £8 8s towards the expenses of accouchement, and solicitor's fee 21s, the first payment to commence on the 30th December. Mr Innes appeared for plaintiff and Mr Cooper for respondent. GRAZING ON THE PUBLIC ROAD. Philip G. Jones and James Jones were charged with having grazed 150 head of cattle on the public road. They were fined 10s and costs. Mr Innes appeared for defendants and Mr Loughnan for the Kairanga County Council.
