LICENSING COMMITTEE.

The Palmerston Licensing Committee met to-day, those present being—Mr A. D. Thomson, S.M. (chairman), and Messrs W. T. Wood, J. M. Johnston, A. Jack, W. Beck and H. Palmer., An .application was .made for the transfer of fhe license of the Royal Hotel at; Bunnythorpe from Mr Eberhard to Mr De Witte. Mr Power appeared in support of the application, which was granted. • Application was also made for the transfer of the license for the Clarendon Hotel from Mrs Tait to Mr McKewen. Mr Loughnan appeared in support of the application, which was granted. Mr Innes, on behalf of Mr L. D. Patterson, applied for a wholesale license for a shop in Cuba Street, in place of one surrendered by Mr J. A. Nash.- The application was granted.
