A social will be held in the Oddfollows' Hall, Cuba Street, on Wednesday next in aid of the funds of the Church of England Sunday School, Hokowhitu. Mr J. Prentice, the well-known brick and pipe manufacturer, of Boundary Road, who has recently completed a large order for bricks for the Taihape railway station, has secured a contract to supply the bricks for the new station at Waioru and several other works on the Main Trunk line. Druids requested to assemble at 1.50 p.m. to-morrow for the purpose of attending the funeral of Bro. A. W. Weston's late wife. Druids are notified that the drag for Feilding will leave Woodfield's stables at 7 p.m., not 6.30 p.m., as previously advertised. Experienced man with plant wants to milk on shares. Mr Albert T. Board, land agent, Hangataki, King Country, advises those in search of good land at reasonable prices to visit the above district. Mr Board has for sale open land and bush lands, party improved.
