Accidents and Fatalities.
(Per Press Association.) * AUCKLAND, April 4. A fatal accident happened on Tuesday near Onewhero to Thomas Hector atid H. : Geraghty. The men were drilling a hole in papa rock in connection with *" road work. Hector was holding the „ drill and Geraghty was striking. With- J out warning some five or six tens gave • way. Geraghty, who' was standing, sprung back just in time to save himself, but Hector, who was kneeling down, ' was caught and killed instantaneously. It took soveral men half an hour to get Hector out.
