Bowling.

(Per Press Association.J DUNEIXIN, January 25. At a meeting of prominent bowlers from the North and South Islands tonight, the question of an Exhibition Tournament at Christehurck, to be held conjointly by the New Zealand Bowling Association and the Northern Bowling Association, was discussed and warmly supported. The idea may be expected to take practical shape very shortly. The bowling tournament was continued to-day under ideal weather conditions. The final of the rinks championship was won by Prince' 3 (Newtown), who defeated Hislop's (Kaitangata) rather easily. [Newtown are the winners of the North Island Bowling Association's banner.] To-day the finals will be played in the doubles and singles, and also the match North Island v. South Island.
