■By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Per Press Association.) (Received Nov. 18, at 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, This day. The Rugby Union has cabled to Mr iEeeves, asking him to convey to the -New-Zealand footballers their congratulations on the brilliant record and their 'best wishes for to-day's test match Scotland.
The Daily Telegraph, in an appreciative article concludes .-—"For the present ■colonial physique and health are so superbly good that they testify with comforting eloquence to the betterment of the transplanted and blended Britisher and the steadfast progress of this wonderful Empire. Viewed in its character of /representativeness, therefore, the circumstance that the New Zealand footballers ■have won so many matches so easily is •interesting rather than important since it is seen to involve a great historical •ethnological fact. ;
