King Edward Meets with an Accident.

LONDON, November 17.

While shooting at Old Windsor with Prince.Nicholas of Greece, King Edward stepped into a rabbit hole and fell heavily, breaking the stock of his unloaded gun into several pieces.

He complained of acute pain about the right.ankle. The head gamekeeper rubbed the injury while King Edward was treated on the ground until a carriage.conveyed him to the castle. His Majesty was able to walk inside with difficulty. : .

It wasfound the tendon of the ankle was slightly injured. The King is doing well, and no serious consequence is expected.
