(Per Press Association.) CHKISTCHUUCH, This day. The Canterbury Jockey Club's Grand National Meeting was continued to-day in dull'■weatker. The course was heavy from over night rain. Besults :— Ladies' Bracelet.—Bill Bailey 1, Merginae 2, Whataroa 3. Won by a length and a quarter. Time, 3min oosecs. Divs, £2 14s 6d and £3 4s. Sydenham "Hurdles.-—Tupara 1, Comfort 2, Daredevil 3. Scratched—Wonderful, Yalima, Magnificent, Taxpayer. Daredevil and Rungarawa led to the mile post, where Tupara moved up, and led over the last fence, and stalling off a strong run by Comfort, won by a neck. Time, 3min 27sec. Divs., £3 7s 6dand£l.2s.
Hack Hurdles—Narcissus 1, Taxpayer 2, Wee Macgregor 3. All started. VV on easily by two and a half lengths, lime 3min 12secs. Div. £4 10s 6d
