Kuropatkin's Telegram to the Czar.
" Russians Will Conquer or
Die"

LONDON, Oct. 19.
The newspaper Russ states that-the rains on. Monday have swollen the streams and the roads are desperately bad. The Prussians have reoccupied Shaho station. ..-••' - Kuropatkin telegraphed the Czar that the. Russians will conquer or die. The St. Petersburg general staff, state the- Russians only captured twelve guns. They expect the battle to last till the end of the week. -...,- Kuropatkin has abandoned Mukden as his headquarters and remains with the troops. The Japanese attacks on Lonely Hill on Monday night were repulsed. A Tokio telegram on Wednesday states that owing to the absence of news it is believed that inactivity has followed Kuropatkin's abortive assaults-' -to cover his withdrawal to the Hunho.
