(Per Press Association).DUNEDIN, May 19. Dr. Hislop, father of the Hon. T. W. Hislop, died at 1 o'clock this morning ; aged 83 years. ' The Education ' Baord has, -.laced on record its deep sorrow at the death of Dr. Joint Hislop and its appreciation of the greatest services rendered by Him to the cause of education in Otago in particular and' the colony in general. • " WELLINGTON, May 19. . Mrs J. H.-Bethune, an old-Welling-ton resident, died this morning.
