John Lyons, orio of tho Tramway Co.'s employees, was repairing overhead wires when be fell a distance of fi'teen, feet and sustained injuries which led to bii death. Ho was a "married man, 42 yoHra of age, and leaves a wifp and four chlldven.
Greymooth, December 7.
A bushman -named Poter Wrigbt vras out boating with five others on Laka Brnnner ycsferday. Tho boat w»s strock with a gU3t of wind and upset. Wright was drowned, but tbo others were res--cued with difficulty.
