Woodville Central A. & P. Association.

The general committee of tho Woodyille Central A. and P. Association; met on Thursday last, Mr F. E. Perry, President of the Association, being in the chair, and thirteen., other members were present. A number of applications from different-> papers for. the Association's advertising were received and declined. It was resolved that tickets should not be issued to members in arrear, but that these members should be asked to pay up so that their tickets could be sent to them. It was also decided to ask members, when sending them their tickets, to inform the secretary if they wished to act as stewards. The Agricultural Department is to be asked to exhibit stock and any portions of its different collections that it considers would be of educational value. A gentleman in the district who has a freak of nature in, the shape of a lamb with eight legs, s, to be asked if he will exhibit it as a curio. The secretary was instructed to interpret the rule which says that " stock are not to be exhibited in more than one class, as not applying to horses. A correspondent wrote strongly objecting to the rule that no cash second prizes would be paid unless there were three entries in the class, a nd it w a s resolved to irdform him that it is too late to alter the rule this year, •but it would be carefully considered next year. Some new members were elected, and a list of gentlemen to be asked to act as judges was prepared.
