Important Notice of Motion.

Mr F. pi ran i has tab]ed the fol _ lowing motion for next meeting of the Waaganui Educatdon Board :— " That application be made to the Government to convert the Palmerston District High School into a secondary school under the Secondary Schools Act."

If the above motion is carried and the Goverriment agree to the request, the income of the Palmerston High School will amount to £1650 or £1700 per annum, which will be' ample for its requirements. In the meantime Mr Pirani has arranged with the School Commissioners to hold over the distribution of funds which, have accumulated, so that no injustice will be done •to the Palinerstcm .District High School.
