SHIPPING GRIEVANCES. SYDNEY, -This Tay. The Hon Mr Kingston, oho toured North Queensland, arrived at Newcastle and met with a somewhat cold reception publicly. The masters of the ships aggrieved at the restrictions placed by tho Customs on tho shipping declined to decorate their vessels. A deputation of shipmasters requested the removal of the restrictions on the use of ships' stores. Mr Kingston, in reply, said the question was rereceiving attention and revised regulations would be issued in a few weeks. RAILWAY" STRUGGLES. MELBOURNE, This Day. The Premier again confers with the railway men to-day. FEDERAL POLITICS. HOBART, This Day. In the Legislative Council election the Government candidate was defeated at Hobart, and Mr McCall being rejected at South Esk will probably necessitate the reconstru. ction of the Ministry.;
