A Land Case.

WELLINGTON, To-day
The Supreme Court was occupied to-day with a case of some importance as affecting the question of residence on Crown lands under lease in perpetuity. The Land Board forfeited the lease of Fairfield Thompson on the grounds of non-compliance with the residential conditions. This condition was appealed against.
