Ten thousand troons sailed from South Africa to Great Britain last week. Liuuis. R Dumaresq and J. Hamor, of the Now Zealand Mounteds, have sailed for England.
(Per Press Acsociation) Wbi—iNGTOK, July 22. The Acting-Premier has received the following eablo from Colonel Davies, dated at Albany on Monday :—Britannic arrived hero yesterday with forty-two officers of the Eighth Contingent, and two officers and 83 other 3of all ranks of the Tenth Contingent. I regrot toreport that IV o. 5498, Corporal T. L. Delabrosso, died on lho 17th of pneumonia, No. 5815, Private McLary, is seriously ill. Four others' are progressing favourably, all pneumonia cases. Tbo rest are well."
