GUARDS' BAZAAR.
The Guards Bazaar was continued yesterday afternoon and last ni^ht and was liberally patronised. Theitalls all did good business, while the various side-shows attracted large numbers of visitors, The total receipts were £45 lhe pianola recital given by the -Uresden Company in the evening was listened to with much interest and great appreciation was expressed at the items. The Guards repeated their R^ical and bayonet exercises. The ■Highland Fling and other dances were prettily danced by a number of young
The. shooting gallery, under the charge, of Mr Moore, was a centre of attraction daring the evening. The following'prizes donated by the townspeople mentioned were awarded to the successful competitors':—Lamp (presented by Copeland Bros.) won by Mr Sollitt; walking stick (Mr EavanW) won by Corp. Collis; spurs (Mr Eandell) won by Mr Manson ; pipe (Mr Walklev) won by Corp. Just; pipe (Mr Brett) won by Private Just; cigarette-holder (Brophy and Co:) won by Private beirert; Jdox of chocolate (Mr Gallagher) won by Bugler Park; medal (Mr Haybittle) won by Private Just; cigaretteholder (Mi- E. Quinn) won by Lieut Morgan.
Several raffles were drawn last nkht, the winners being Messrs Quinn, S Watson, Wightman, and. Freeman A large number will be drawn to-nieht The refreshment stall (always open) is being well patronised. To-night. Major Hall's museum will be m charge of "Longfellow," who has been assisting with the shooting gallery. Messrs Comwalls are supplv'in" the entertainment to-night. A number of songs and solos are to be introduced. . All tickets which were distributed for. sale are requested to be handed in or accounted for to-night.
