King Edward
The following cablegram has been Bent by his Excellency to the Secretary of State for the Colonies :—"My Government, on behalf of the entire colony, desire to offer their hearty congratulations and humble homage on His Majesty's accession to the Throne of our glorious Empire, and all devoutly pray His Majesty may be long spared; I desire to assure the King of the.true love, devotion and loyalty of this colony. —(Signed) Eanfurly."
