BY-PASS CAUSES EXPLOSION.
Mrp Joshua, the wife of a Malvern doojior, has met with a shocking death. There wa3, a smell of gas ia the house, and .she left her bed-room and went to th|i .morning room. She notioed that she chandelier was pulled down, and she pujhed it up. The small light of an Incandescent by-pass exploded the escaped gas, and the light clothing worn by. Mrs Joshua became ignited. She W»'« terribly burnt, and died from shook. T^g.Servants were also burnt, and the house was much damaged.
