Melbourne, January 25. Compared with 1899 the imports into Victoria last year increased by £348,000. The gold and silver bullion imported decreased by £1,334,000, but merchandise increased by £1,683,000. The exports decreased by £1,145,000; the decrease mwoolwas£l,s74,ooo;wheat, £359,000----sheepskins, £184,000; bullion and specie £239,000. Other goods increased by £1,246,000, bringing down the net decrease.

Bkisbane, January 25. Ihe total value of the exports from the colony last year was £9,072,000, a decrease of nearly two millions compared with the previous year.
