MEMORIAL SERVICE
At the invitation of the Rev. C. C. Harper, a meeting was held at the Vicarage yesterday afternoon to consider the arrangements for a memorial service. There were preseut the Eevs. H. F. Wilson,, Lawry, Chisholm, Baker and Richards. Tho Roy. Father Tymons wrote stating his inability to take part in the proposal I service. ; It was resolved to hold a united j service, .in the open air if possible, on tho day of public mourning for the late Queen's death, and the Rev. S. La wry was appointed to wait on the Borough Council to arrange for the service being included in the programme for that day. An order of service was drawn up consisting of hymns, prayers, and an address, and the Eev. H. F. Wilson (in the absence of tho Eev. C. C- Harper) was appointed to take charge of the proceedings at the service. The Eevs. C. C. Harper and E. Richards- announced that they would probably be away from bqine, and so would not bo able to take any^part.
