The Imperial Troops.

" (Per Press .Association). Wellington, January 19. ' The Government has been advised that the Imperial troops will arrive at the Bluff on February 2nd. The Acting-Premier has asked the Mayors of Invercargill, Gore, Oamaru and ■Timaru to make arrangements to entertain the troops when passing through their towns. The troops, who number about 1000, are to be conveyed in special trains, if possible, arrangements will be made for portions to visit Wangauui en route to .Napier.

It is probable the visitors will stay a day at Dunedin, Christchurch and Auckland, and two days at AVellington.
