The New York health authorities have imposed twelve days' quarantine, including the time occupied on the voyage, on vessels arriving from Glasgow. The outbreak at Glasgow is a mild one. There are eighty-three cases under surveillance. The bodies of the victims of the bubonic plague at Glasgow are being cremated. Eeceived September 4, at 5.50 a.m. London, September 3. Continental countries are enforcing strict quarantine against the plague in Glasgow. Two more deaths have occurred.
