BOERS IN NATAL. The Boers in Natal are retreating to
Majuba, on the south-east boundary of the Transvaal.
Commandant Botha's, Delarey's and Ollivier's commandos are entrenching themselves at Ehenoster River, where a bridge has been destroyed. TRANSVAAL CAPITAL. The Volksraad has endorsed the transfer of the capital to Lydenburg, to the north-east of Pretoria, and the archives have been removed. A PLOT SUSPECTED. The British gunboat Fort, at Delagoa Bay, nightly shams to proceed seaward seven miles, owing to a suspectedjjonspiracy to explode the ship in the%rkness like the American warship Mjtfe.
