On each occasion he received unanimous votes of thanks and confidence. He eulogised the actions of eaoh individual member of the Ministry, and 1 the policy now being pursued m advanc* ing the be6t interests of the Colony, and looked forward ax, no distant date to a season of prosperity arising out of the able and intelligent administration of public affairs by the present Government. He referred at great length to the important Colonial questions of federation, defences, expansion of trad*, mail services, financial operations, and other matters of local interest.
