The Lastingham.
[Post.] The steamer Mohaka returned from the wreck of the Lastinghjira. on Tuesday eveh?ng, bringing a '' f till cargo, consisting of galvanised iron, railway materials, &c. Everything^ is proceeding satisfactorily at the wreck, and the cargo, is -being sent up quickly ; m fact, when the Mohaka left, there was so much waiting to be taken away as would fill the Mohaka twice over. It is probable that the s.s. Tui will be chartered to make a trip over. The captain of the p,B. Lyttelton, which vessel is engaged at the wreck, sent us the following! by the-Mohaka yesterday :—" Wevftre getting out all the hpavy material first, galvanised iron, wir-e -fishplates, &c. The ship is broken m three pieces. There seems to bea good chance for the. shareholders havingf a good tetfara. We 1 have got about 45 tons on board, a quantity oftcaska of beeir w and vinegar included, being the result of two days' work.
