: <BT TELKOKAPHi (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION ).; '...., Auckland, This Day. The barque St. Lawerence from Sydney tp Puget Sound, Oregon, put m here yesterday. Captain Webster reports left Sydney, January 20th, m ballast ; met with heavy gales on Fobruary 8. Tin ballast shifted and the vessel went on . her beam ends and took m water. The pumps refused duty and the vessel was ,m aperilous condition till the 12th, when ht© gale abatpd. The vessel is apparently severely strained and will probably be docked here. . .
