An Educational DifiCULTY.
] WaDganui Paper."] Now that there is a temporary lull m the breezy atmosphere of Halcombe, the Feilding people have taken the oppertunity to have a little educational difficulty on their own account. The School Committee have been "going for" the teachers, and base their objection to Mr Dowling on the ground of charges brought against him m the Inspector's report, and to Mrs Dowling on the ground that she habitually came to her duties too late m the morning, and to Miss Goodison because she did not appear to have control over the children. As" usual m scholastic disputes of this kind, we read m the local journal that the male teacher had " defied the Committee to do anything." The Committee unanimously agreed to a resolution calling on the Education Board to reorganise the teaching staff, and remove Mrs Dowling and Mis 3 Goodison.
