WRITTEN TENDERS will be received at this office up to noon on Tuesday, 17th April, 1833, for the Supp'y and Delivery of 100,000 Sleepers, or for any smaller numter not les3 than 5,000. to be delivered to extent, as follows, at the different places mentioned below :— Waikari, 20,000 ; Christchurch, 10,000 ; Timaru, 10,000 ; Dunedin, 15,000 ; Kelso, 10,000 ; Invercargill, 10,000 ; and alongside Railwap Line Riverton to Orepuki, 25,000. They are to be addressed to the Hon. the Minister for Public Works, Duuedi". and marked " Tender for Sleepers, Middle Island liailways," on outside cf envelope. Telegr jihio tenders, similarly addressed and marked, will be received if presented at Telegraph Office by noon of the same dt»te, provided that written tenders are lodged at a District or Resident Engineer's Office by the same hour. Specifications may be seen at the Public Works Offices, Auckland, Wellington, Nelson, Ohristchnrcb, Dunedin, and luvercargill ; and at the Post Offices Palmerßton JSorth, Havelock, Tapanui, and Riverton.
