Waste Lands Board.

The ordinary fortnightly meeting of the Waste Lands Board was held at noon on Thursday. Present — Messrs J. G. Holds worth (chairman and commissioner), T. Mason, H. Bunny, and W. W. Taylor. Mr T. Jordan, of Palmerston North, applied for permission to transfer section 279, Block 111, Arawara Survey District, held by him on deferrod payment, to William Wig* gins. The application was granted. A request was preferred from the Wellington City Council askiDg to have section 94, Waininomata, reserved tor waterworks purposes. After some conversation . as to the best course to pursue, it was resolved " that further consideration of the matter be postponed pending the receipt of the surveyor's repoit."
