KAITUNA VALLEY.

(Frwjn Our Own Correspondent.) Mr John Daniels, Kaituna Valley, had his shed containing his annual crop of cocksfoot hay burnt down on Saturday, the 20th instant, during his absence in Havelock. He had the day previously made several fires of old logs, &c., and sparks from these set alight to the standing dead trees around his house, and they set fire to the shed of hay. Poor old “Jenny” managed to save the house, but was unable to save the shed, around which some Imy was stacked. A portion of his front fence was also burnt, and Daniels considers himself the loser of from .£lO to £ls by the fire.
