CRICKET.

RANFURLY V. NASEBY B. [ On Saturday die Naseby B team went to I Ranfurly and there narrowly escaped defeat. The Ranfurly cricketers had the chaiice of | a life time when they had disposed of nine , wickets for 27.leaving the last wicket to put | on 10 runs. Then in the second jnniogs they failed to realise what an opportunity lay before them, and instead of being ready to face the bowlers »9 soon ob on. of their side was out, some had a saunter t» the township. Forrester, M'Lean, 1> Marshall, Bell being well supported by the remaining seven.
