On the «re of Hiss Fleming's departure from St. Bathans, the readmits took occasion to show their appreciation of the esteem in which they held her by holding a social in her honour, at which was presented to her a parse of sovereigns. Mt O'Regan, in making the presentation on behalf of the residents, assured Hiss Fleming of their kind wishes for her future welfare and thanked her for the assistance which she had, during her long residence in t*e district, so ansparingly given to all objects, which promoted the good of the community at
